The GIN Programme supports the education and training of endoscopy nurses to improve patient care by sharing best practice.
The aim of the GIN Programme is to update the workforce on service developments in endoscopy. It aims to create a sustainable solution to educating the workforce by training local facilitators to provide an on-going structured approach to training, assessment and appraisal.
We believe strongly in supporting the workforce and have developed a complete training package of courses which will assist the achievement of a sustainable, high quality, cost effective service. The training courses currently consist of three interlinked elements:
- GIN Facilitators course
- Train the Nurse Trainer course
- GIN day
The GIN Programme is supported by the GIN website and an associated e-portfolio.
