Welcome to the JETS (JAG Endoscopy Training System) website.

This website is for all UK-based NHS endoscopists. Endoscopy is an exciting sub-speciality housed principally within medical and surgical gastroenterology. However, endoscopic procedures are also performed by radiologists, general practitioners and nurses.

Endoscopy training and certification is one of the key remits of the JAG and this site reflects the JAG’s guidelines and quality assurance framework. The JETS website helps those in need of further training, identify and apply for training courses.

The site also provides an e-Portfolio for trainees to record their endoscopic experience and demonstrate their performance and competencies which will support the JAG certification process. The e-Portfolio needs to be set up per trust. To find out more about the e-Portfolio and how to set it up please visit the e-Portfolio pages on the JAG website.

Please note JETS certification is for trainees only. Experienced endoscopists should refer to the following guidance.

Cheques for certification:  Please make your cheque for £70.00 payable to The Royal College of Physicians when sending in your JAG certification fee.
